Most patients describe lip injections as mildly uncomfortable. We may use a topical anesthetic or ice to enhance your comfort during the treatment, and the product itself contains an anesthetic.
When it comes to massaging your lips after injections, it’s best to follow your provider’s guidance. In most cases, massaging isn’t necessary, as the filler will naturally settle.
You should wait 24 to 48 hours before kissing to allow the filler to take shape and avoid irritation. After that, it’s safe to pucker up!
