Nose surgery is an outpatient procedure that can be performed using general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.

What To Expect After Your Procedure
You will likely wear a splint on your nose for up to 1 week to protect and stabilize it after surgery. Dressings and non-dissolving sutures will be removed after about a week or sooner. Avoid strenuous activities for about 3 weeks.
Recovery depends on your body and the specifics of the procedure. Temporary bruising and swelling will appear around the nose, eyes, and cheeks. Bruising usually resolves after about a week, with visible swelling lasting several weeks.
Your results should be apparent after only a few weeks, but residual swelling can linger for months. Subtle changes can continue for the first year.
