Many assume excess fat causes cellulite, but the true culprit lies beneath the surface. Fibrous bands of connective tissue under the skin pull it downward, creating a dimpled, uneven appearance that many patients want to smooth away.
Your Procedure
Our surgeons perform Avéli with a handheld device designed to precisely release the septa bands responsible for cellulite dimpling. After preparing the treatment area with a local anesthetic for your comfort, your surgeon will mark the targeted dimples while you are standing.
Next, you will lie on the treatment table, and the surgeon will insert the Avéli device into small incisions near the targeted dimples. With the guidance of a light at the tip of the device, the surgeon identifies the septa bands and carefully releases them. Real-time feedback ensures precise targeting and effective treatment.
Because the incisions are so small, scarring is minimal, and most patients find the procedure comfortable and efficient. Treatment typically takes about an hour, depending on the number of dimples being addressed.
