Breast Implant Exchange Before & After Case 48

This 47 year-old woman from the Scottsdale area presented to my office in Gilbert, AZ for a consultation regarding breast revision surgery. She had previously undergone a breast augmentation with saline tear drop implants about 15 years prior and was unhappy with the changes of her breast shape. 

Dr. Olson met with her and discussed her surgical options as well as breast implant options. He recommended a exchange, placing the implants under the pectoralis muscle for a more natural appearance. She chose to proceed with implant exchange alone to avoid additional visible scars from the breast lift. 

During the surgery, 425cc round high profile Mentor silicone implants were used. She healed well and had minimal pain following surgery. Her breast shape has improved significantly and her new silicone implants have a much more natural feel than the saline implants.
